"Happy Boy består av en knippe stora låtar, med riktigt bra och igenkänningsbara texter. Han har en alldeles särskild låtskrivartalang, den saken är klar. Ett sant guldkorn i den svenska skivfloden som förtjänar mycket mer uppmärksamhet än den troligen kommer att få. -– Extra mycket faller jag för balladerna, där känslan och rösten lockar fram ödsligheten och vemodet i underbara låtar som 'Nothing to pretend' och 'What do we do now?'
