New Slowman Band.
I can now proudly introduce the new set-up of Slowman Band. The band has rehearsed during the fall, developed new arrangements on the songs and have given me back the joy of playing.
Michael Wall is a true musician and he master several instruments. He plays primarily lap steel, percussion, drums and sings. Michael has played in many bands over the years and has been touring with Peter and Nanne Grönwall as well as Ninos Dankha, Prince of Assyria.
Markus Gahnfelt is the band's second multi-talent that has played bass with bands like Nashville Rebels and Shoutless, guitar in Spine and Eager Beaver (eg as supporting act for Simple Minds). He has also been a producer of a number of compilation albums during his time at Fryshuset. In the band, Markus takes care of double bass, electric bass and backing vocals.
In my absolute favorite bands everyone sings, now Slowman Band has become one of them. Both Michael and Markus are good singers. Now we look forward to many exciting gigs together and who knows, maybe eventually we'll find ourselves in the studio with some new songs.
